What is work scale?

The main scales of work
As we stated earlier, the scales vary according to the needs of each company. That is why there are scales of various types. The following are the main scales used:
- Working Scale 5 × 1: every five days of work, the employee slacks one. Thus, one works six days a week and it is necessary to take one Sunday off every seven days. On this scale, the working day is 07h20min.
- Working Scale 5 × 2: every five working days, it takes two days off that can be followed or not. Therefore, the collaborator works five days a week and about 08h48min hours a day.

- Working Scale 12 × 36: every twelve hours worked, the employee is entitled to thirty-six hours of rest. This type of scale is usually related to health and safety areas whose activities can not be interrupted in a shorter period of time.
- Working Scale 18 × 36: every eighteen hours worked, the collaborator must take thirty-six hours.
